The Biography of Mr. E. and the Filthy Devils
Mr. E and the Filthy Devils were born out of Georgie Venereal and
Egghead-8’s love of Hardcore Punk Rock and Grindcore. We wanted to start a project that we both are
into and passionate about the music. We are Beelezepunx (some may say that is Devil Punk). Beelzepunx is not just some musical category, a playing style, but rather, a movement of rebellion, attitude, and independence. We value giving those who are silent a voice, advocating independence to create the art and expression that one may chooses (without infringing on others), and we are playing what we like. The ignorant will shun us by the title we choose to carry ourselves under, and that is fine. Free will, freedom of expression, and thought is usually a recipe for disaster in the eyes of the few. "No Gods, No Masters" (Amebix). We do not put faith in fairytales, but we like the symbol of rebellion that the symbolic Devil represents, and with that being stated, we believe in personal responsibility. The actions that one chooses is followed by consequences. Therefore, harmony and balance are in place. Negative and positive, positive and negative. We are influenced by the spectrum of punk bands as to not get tied down or pigeon holed by one style. The music is very dynamic that is the mystery behind Mr. E.
