On Thursday April 25th, 2013, Venereal wrote the lyrics and music for Bug Spray. Bug Spray is about how the military and the C.I.A. can target enemy combatants on American soil with drones and strike them surgically within the good ole U.S.A. What about the civilians? Are we okay with becoming collateral damage? These questions have been swimming around in Venereal's head, since the inception of the notion was broadcasted on the news. Venereal believes that treasonous terrorists or foreign invaders that do harm to the citizens of the America should be equally punished for their malicious actions, but he nor any others' family should pay for the misdeeds of a few evil individuals as collateral damage. Send in the authorities not remote controlled faceless drones to deal the dirty work, especially, here in your backyard. Carry your Bug Spray because the drones are flying.

10:00p.m. Mr. E and the Filthy Devils rehearsed at Hot House Studios in Santa Fe Springs, CA. The night of a Blood Moon, the band came together and constructively created and added to the finished songs, so far, we have four songs written (That which I love, is not You, Daddy's Girl, Pesadias de una Nina (Nightmare), & Soylent Mean) and we are covering two songs. The rehearsal was very productive and intense. Egghead-8 is back in action after ten years, and his vocals are diverse and as strong as ever while adding to the dynamic sound of the music. Surge is adding a different flavor to our style of music as he forms the spine with his massive beats, from tribal beats to fast driving punk rock. Venereal is shredding on the guitar (playing an Epiphone Demon) and delivering various vocal ranges from his deep guttural spouts to harmonizing and matching tones with Egghead-8's vocals. This project is a unique and collaborate effort by these experienced minds. There is a level of passion and power, lyrically and musically. |
